Children are admitted to school for full-time education in the September of the school year they turn five years old. If you’re interested in having your child admitted to Carleton Park at any stage of their schooling, you’re warmly invited to make an appointment to come and see us, meet our Head of School and look around.

The admission body for Carleton Park is Pontefract Academies Trust. The Trust follows the Wakefield M D Council Admission Policy in managing admissions. Admission arrangements are administrated centrally by the Wakefield M D Council. You can get more information on procedures and criteria for each school, together with an application form, from the Wakefield Admissions Team. You need to apply – either by form or online – by the submission date in the Autumn Term before your child starts school.
